They began to talk about the series “Unprincipled” at the beginning of the summer, when work on the project had just started. Later, the producers presented footage from the filming, and now fans of Alexander Tsypkin’s work (it was his stories that formed the basis of the series) can finally see the first trailer.
The main roles in the series were played by Pavel Derevyanko, Oksana Akinshina, Pavel Tabakov, Aglaya Tarasova, Maxim Vitorgan, Ingeborga Dapkunaite, Nikolai Fomenko, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Nadezhda Mikhalkova and more.
“Unprincipled” – satirical novellas by Tsypkin about indecent stories that happen to seemingly decent residents of Patriarch’s Ponds.
The series turned out to be a little more funny and comedic than my stories, in which there is always a sad note, but I think that behind all these funny situations you can see the lyrics. For filming, I had to add a dozen new stories, so the series will be interesting to watch for those who know my stories well. It seems to me that the most important thing that the actors managed to create is that in every pair between a man and a woman, electricity constantly runs. I am happy with this choice of artists for the film adaptation: any writer can envy me,
– shared Tsypkin.
The filming of the series took place this summer and autumn in the real scenery of the Patriarch’s Ponds: in restaurants, bars, side streets and courtyards. The project was directed by Roman Prygunov.
“Unprincipled” will premiere on 15 October. In total, viewers will be able to watch 8 episodes of 50 minutes each.
