Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes and Millie Bobby Brown as his cheeky sister in the trailer for Enola Holmes

A trailer for a new series from Netflix has appeared on the network, which is already called one of the most anticipated premieres of the season – “Enola Holmes”.

The main role in it was played by the young star of another sensational TV series “Stranger Things”, 16-year-old Millie Bobby Brown. And no, according to the plot, she is not a namesake, but the real sister of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.

From the video, you can get a fairly complete picture of the development of history. Enola grew up with her mother (played by Helena Bonham Carter) and was the most ordinary happy child, albeit not with the most ordinary childhood, because mother and daughter preferred fencing, wrestling and chemical experiments to playing with dolls. But one day mom disappears.

Enola (her name, by the way, is the word “lonely” – alone, written in reverse) goes in search of London, where, of course, meets his brothers – Mycroft (Sam Claflin) and Sherlock (Henry Cavill).

Lady Enola is clearly not going to live in their shadow, as well as to be modest and obedient. Here her main adventures begin, the development of which the viewer will be able to learn in more detail from September 23 – it is on this day that the premiere of the new series is scheduled, which promises to become the main TV hit of the fall.

In addition, the director was Harry Bradbeer, who worked on such successful and beloved TV shows as “Trash” and “Killing Eve”.

Well, we are clearly waiting for new discussions about which Sherlock is better. The comparative description can begin right with the curls that were clothed by ex-Superman Cavill and which distinguished the modern Sherlock performed by Benedict Cumberbatch.
