The plot “Psycho” is centered on the story of a successful Moscow psychotherapist who needs psychological help no less than his patients. For Paulina Andreeva “Psycho” became the first full-fledged work after graduation from the script department of the film school “Industry”. The actress claims that before starting work, Fyodor Bondarchuk did not even know that he was reading his wife’s script, because he was provided with an unsigned copy. The director was so hooked on this story that he decided to take on this project, and only then he learned that the script was written by Paulina. Several months in quarantine benefited the project: all this time Paulina Andreeva was finalizing the script and was in constant contact with professional psychotherapists so that her character in the frame looked as believable as possible.
