The restrictions imposed throughout Russia in connection with the coronavirus pandemic deprive citizens of the opportunity on May 9 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory the way they used to celebrate this holiday. But even without the parade on Red Square (in Moscow and other cities, only the aerial part of the parade will take place) and the procession of the Immortal Regiment through the streets (the action will be held online), the whole country will celebrate Victory Day. The stars of Russian show business have also prepared for this day. Soso Pavliashvili, Maxim Galkin, Alsu, Keti Topuria and other artists recorded the song “May 9” on the verses of Mikhail Tanich.

I am infinitely proud and happy to feel like a descendant of real winners. I myself am the grandson of a man who died at the front, giving his life for happiness, for joy, for peace and for God. They gave their lives in war with Satan. And it is a great honor for me that today I can represent the song that we wrote in 1995 with Mikhail Isaevich Tanich. It is dedicated to all veterans, to all those divine people who went through this hell and hell, in order to preserve our life and faith in God for us,

– presented the festive video Soso Pavliashvili, who wrote the music for the song.

Pavliashvili said that the idea of congratulating on Victory Day came about thanks to his wife Irina. Soso, together with Garik Martirosyan, thought about how to support the Russians isolated in their homes. The singer’s wife remembered the song to the words of Mikhail Tanich.

Garik really liked this song, and we immediately collected a real constellation of our friends, colleagues, and at the studio of our brother and friend Grigory Leps we collected voices recorded at home. Garik Martirosyan made a video version of the song, – Soso Pavliashvili told.
