Jennifer Aniston on Friends
No sooner had the fans of the series “Friends” been happy that their favorite show would still receive a continuation, as work on it was postponed. According to Western media reports, on March 23 and 24 at Warner Bros. in Burbank, California, a special episode of the legendary sitcom was supposed to be filmed, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were canceled. Work on the series has been postponed indefinitely.
Since the coronavirus spread widely around the world last week and the WHO announced its pandemic, many Hollywood projects have been frozen and festivals, concerts and other crowded events have been canceled or rescheduled.
Recall that on February 21, the entire cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, signed a contract for the so-called “reunion” project after several months of negotiations. Viewers are expected to watch a 60-minute episode with their favorite characters. As Courteney Cox promised, “the launch will be fantastic.” It remains only to be patient and wait a little longer.
